PARTY
Dear Jim;
Delighted to hear
from you and to get a (brief) update on where you have been and what you have
been doing. Guided all Seven in 8 months ... wow! Who was your client? Did you
summit Everest?
I am also so sorry
to hear that Larry has been sick. Alas, the weekend you have planned for a
get-together will not work for me -- I have a longstanding commitment to be in
Texas that weekend for a horse event, and have made arrangements to have horses
and staff shipped down there. Many people counting on me for it. I would love
to see Larry again, and to let him know of my gratitude to him for opening the
door to so many opportunities in my life. Since I moved back here to
California, I have been able to return to so many of the spectacular places we
first visited with YSI -- Joshua Tree, Point Dume, Mono Lake, Yosemite and
others - and never forget that these are places I would not know if not for
Larry's lead. I am terribly disappointed that I cannot be there.
Should plans change,
or should another opportunity to get together arise, please let me know. Also,
should you find yourself in the area of Southern California, do give a call. I
live 35 miles Northwest of Santa Barbara, and, in my plane, anywhere in the
state can be reached in less than an hour.
Fondly,
Sandy
