The trip spanned the autumnal equinox and our 16th anniversary, which meant Fall Colors!

Wednesday night was BBQ night.  Gerrie (voted Best Dressed on the trip) isn't shy.

Anne fights her way through thick hickory smoke back to the table.

Dian looks remarkably civilized while a Wyoming BBQ meal.

But the real BBQ fiends were apparent!

Jackson practices intellectual pursuits.

Chuck offered to brand any leather goods we had.  He refused to work on the livestock, though.

Digger and Lois gather with the rest of us around the fireplace.

Bud and Ruthie holding hands....

Judd led us in some traditional cowboy songs, though we all felt his own songs (particularly "Just This Side of Freedom") were better.

Marty views the festivities.

Things got a little zany when we sang "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain (Ooh-la-la)."

Thursday morning we took the tramway to the top of the ski area.  On the slopes, pines and firs mixed with aspen in beautiful colors.

Thursday afternoon the equestrians showed their stuff.  Bill, our beloved historian, was one of the first in the saddle.

Tom looks like a real cowboy!

Jackson's ready to go, but his horse seems less eager.

Diane and her horse are naturals (of course, they practiced last year!)

Maribelle's back in the saddle again!

Chris rides on ...

Nancy has class ...

Bill looks more comfortable than his horse does.

During my afternoon jog, I encountered several bison.  As I slowed to a cautious walk, I snapped a few shots.

Out in the hills, the aspen groves were even more beautiful.

Alien invaders in their spacecraft.

More colorful leaves on the forest floor.

Near the turn-around point on my jog, I came to a couple of ponds.  The waterfowl always flew away before I could ready my camera though.

More beautiful Wyoming skies.

Another pond high on the ridge.

While the others were riding, Clarence was fly fishing.  Maybe the hat he lost earlier in the day will make it all the way to the mouth of the Columbia.

Cathy finishes up the ride in her usual high spirits.

That's all folks, unless you want to return to the first page of Tetons pictures or head back to
