Thursday morning we took the tramway to the top of the ski area. On the slopes, pines and firs mixed with aspen in beautiful colors. |
Thursday afternoon the equestrians showed their stuff. Bill, our beloved historian, was one of the first in the saddle. |

| During my afternoon jog, I encountered several bison. As I slowed to a cautious walk, I snapped a few shots. |

While the others were riding, Clarence was fly fishing. Maybe the hat he lost earlier in the day will make it all the way to the mouth of the Columbia. |
