We were astonished to learn that no two towns in all of Greenland are linked by a road. All travel is by boat, or occasionally by air. So we got quite accustomed to sitting on deck enjoying the glorious scenery. But we did have to bundle up. Even though we had "excellent" weather, we often had to wear every stitch of warm clothing we had.
