Wednesday morning we went to The Blue Lagoon, the most photographed site in all of Iceland. It's a man-made lake created from the runoff from the nearby geothermal power plant. Water from a mile deep in the earth, after being used to generate both heat and electricity, is ejected into the lagoon.
